On this wonderful Christmas morning
As we gather 'round bright lit tree.
Before we open even one gift, Lord,
We want to give thanks to Thee.
Thanks for all the blessings you send,
The big ones and the small.
Thank you for your love and mercy
That reaches down to one and all.
The joy of this glorious morning
Made brighter this Christmas Day
In knowing the reason you came,
Born and died to take our sins away.
And in rising from the dead,
You have taken the sting of death away.
We worship and we thank you, Lord,
On this wonderful Christmas Day.
Help us to give and to receive
With hearts that are true.
And help us always remember
We celebrate Christmas, because of You.
