Down at the meadow by a rocky path
I stopped to gaze on a little flower there.
Gently it seemed to nod to me
This little flower so beautiful and fair.
It sent our a warm glow
As I silently stood there.
And I knew why it was so,
It was totally in the Lord's care.
This little flower had no worries
In sunshine or in winds that blow.
For it rested totally in God's care
And we should even more so.
For if God watches over the flowers
And clothes them in beauty rare,
Surely we should know He loves us even more.
So why should we have worries and cares?
Let us put our trust in the Lord
As we go about from day to day.
Taking a lesson from the little flowers,
"Just trust in God", they softly say.
