For a wife that loves me
And children so dear.
For friends and neighbors
And smiles of good cheer.

For the sky of blue,
Bird's songs filling the trees.
For the shade of the old oak
And the cooling breeze.

For the grass that grows,
Flowers blooming about my feet.
A roof over my head
And good food to eat.

For a country where we
Are blessed to be free.
For salvation and the liberty
Found, Lord, in Thee.

For these things and millions
And millions of others, too!
I am so thankful, Father,
To be a child of Yours!
