                with me while you enjoy my poetry.... .

My first poem which I wrote was while I was in the USMC bootcamp during the Vietnam war. This girl whom I was engaged to sent me a Dear John letter. The poem was lost for almost 25 years then it surfaced. The poem was called "LOST LOVE". The first religious poem I wrote was "A WALK WITH YOU". I was very down and I needed his help to overcome. I prayed each night and said that poem until I finally realized that I could not walk beside Christ as I was not strong enough to do so.

What I have found through the years is that many people can relate to what I write about.

I love the outdoors and Roses as they mean love which I have been so long without. I love kids, animals, and traveling. One day I hope to hitch hike around the world writing poetry about the people I meet. To travel that way is to me , meeting the real people of a land. Someday I hope to meet that someone special and get married.
