Lord, let me take a walk with you
That I may see the suffering which I put you through

Lord, the pain and suffering that should have been mine
You have interceded for me, countless times

Lord, help me to understand the power of your love
And the compassion and mercy of God above

Lord, as we walk along this road together
Help me to reaffirm and to always remember

Lord, it was you, who paid for my sins
So that I would have a chance, to be righteous once again

Lord, if I stray from your straight and narrow
Then let me walk with you, again tomorrow

Lord, I ask this and so much more
Because your great love for me, has reopened Heaven's door
