The beautiful snow of the winter season surrounds the cabin like a cloak. The mountains in the background add a dimension of serenity. Evening shadows have cast their spell on the wonders of the approaching nightfall.

The beautiful lady dressed in an emerald green gown sits by the flickering firelight. The clock on the wall ticks away as if to say to her, time waits for no man! Her face once was young and beautiful...and is still beautiful beyond words and in her face is a youthfulness that will never fade away.

The glow of the oil in the lamp at her side...shines green from her favorite color...and casts an emerald shadow across the room. Her emerald green eyes are misty as they glance at the photo album she holds in her graceful hands. The picture she is looking at is of two young lovers... the lady in the picture is like looking at a picture of her own face and there in the picture with her is a magnificent young man...who had been her husband...taken from her by an accident there on their ranch just a few short months ago.

They had a glorious life together...and as she lingers over the photographs...memories flooded her mind of days gone by...of love unsurpassed....love with tenderness, love with strength. She now lives alone in this cabin that he built for her with his own two hands. She would have it no other way. She had abandoned the great house on the hill to live out her final days.... alone with only her haunting memories to sustain her.
