Bible

There are many books around us

Many different things to read

But let me tell you of a book

Please listen and take heed

There is one, A Holy one

That far outweighs the rest

Of all the books that I have read

I love this one the best

It is my strength when I am weak

It's my shelter in time of storm

It guides my footsteps day by day

It keeps me from all harm

I read about my Lord in there

And all His gracious love

It instructs me on how to live

In order to see Heaven above

Of course by now you know the book

That I am speaking of

It is my dear old Bible

I treasure it with love
